Taylor Momsen has slammed the Catholic Church for its record on child abuse and stance on masturbation.
During a New Zealand radio interview, the 17-year-old singer made jokes about priests and revealed why she wrote the song 'Going Down' with her band The Pretty Reckless, reports Us Weekly.
She said: "I was raised Catholic. I f**ked a priest once - I'm just kidding.
"It seemed like a very fitting song to write at the time. It was kind of a f**k you to all the molestation going on. It was just insane. I'm not a whore for masturbating, so f**k you if you want to call me one. I think women should equally be allowed to pleasure themselves as much as men. I think that if that has any more controversy than a man talking about pleasuring himself, then there's something wrong with the world."
Momsen recently admitted that she would make a bad role model for her fans because she is "totally out of [her] mind".
